San Juan Bautista District is one of fourteen districts of the province Ica in Peru.[1] The District 'seat' is the town of San Juan Bautista.
Another neighboring town/village in this district is El Carmen (not to be confused with another District of the same name in the Chinca province of Ica). Tacama winery is located here in El Carmen. El Carmen suffered greatly from the August 2007 earthquake. The primary church in the town center was destroyed, as were many residences.
